Prevention Services
Mission:
To provide immediate crisis care and empowerment services to runaway children and transitional age youth (TAY) in high crime areas of South Los Angeles.
Young people aging out of the foster care system often do not have the resources to transition safety and productively into their communities. Inner City Visions provides after-care support and life skills for youth aging out of foster care. Life skills, including job training, higher or practical education, and needs-based case management are all necessary to help ease the transition from foster care to adulthood. Along with:
- Emergency shelter
- Mentoring
- Advocay
- Education/vocational training
- Medical services
